Our corporatocracy at work, the best government money can buy. I wonder how many remember when it was only Republicans who were the party of big business? We can only hope it doesn't take another Drpression to get the Dems to rediscover their roots. I'm not sure I have enough optimism.
Hmmm. I wonder if the Hyundai and Honda plants in Alabama have anything to do with Senator Shelby's (R-AL) decision to scuttle what's left of the American-owned manufacturing industry. I'd be curious to see the contributions Hyundai has made to his campaign; but I know they're a major employer around Montgomery.
