What Have Republicans Wrought?

A comment I saw posted got me to thinking (sometimes pointless and sometimes dangerous) about what the Republicans have wrought over the past dozen years. Never mind the odd Democratic skid mark - Jefferson comes to mind - just what have the Republicans been up
to? Please forgive my overloaded synapses if I miss one of your favorites.

Impeachment of WJC
NAFTA, CAFTA
Rampant illegal immigration (certainly a joint R/D consideration)
K St project
Voter disenfranchisement
War under false pretenses
Media concentration
Media intimidation
No bid contractual malfeasance
Establishment of government by contractor
End of DOJ independence
Burying the Hatch Act
First Amendment subsidization of religion
Abrogation of the 4th
Destruction of Habeas Corpus
Torture
Illegal confinement
Criminal conviction of VP's chief of staff
Unimaginable deficit
Pervert house member
Bribes and corruption on a huge scale in Congress
Interference in brain dead woman's death - by fiat
Secrecy in government on an unprecedented scale
Abandoning a drowned city
Breaking the military
Ignoring terrorism, other than as campaign rhetoric
Setting large parts of the sympathetic world against us
Crushing blue collar wages
Patronage
Nepotism
Cronyism
Lying at the least provocation
***per promise;
Denying SCHIP under false pretences
could add a collapsing dollar and massive debt,
the sale of infrastructure to foreign interests
a planned north American highway and north American state
the end of America as we knew it and a wide open border
the surpluses on the farms have turned into importing over half of our food
97 percent of our clothes are imports

Add in your own in comments, I know I've missed a batch, I'll move them up...

Did I misunderstand? The Dimmos had no part in this? WRONG, just as bad!

No part? No, but check the balance of power and votes

I would add denying SCHIP funding under false pretenses. The current offer-to-negotiate on dollars post-veto ignores the facts that plenty of not-so-wealthy families can't afford to cover their kids' insurance.

Impeachment of WJC: GOT WHAT HE DESERVERED.

NAFTA, CAFTA R/D But hey, Jimmy Carter giving up the canal.

Voter disenfranchisement: YOU MEAN THOSE DUMBASS PEOPLE IN FLORIDA THAT CAN'T READ OR WRITE?

War under false pretenses: broken record Chucky, YOU DUMB LIBS ALL FELL FOR IT THEN.

Media concentration>
Media intimidation> FOX NEWS??? vs every network and newspaper in the USA.

Torture: YOUR CALL...WATERBOARDING OR YOUR KIDS AND WIFES LIFE.

Pervert house member: BARNEY FRANK???

Ignoring terrorism, other than as campaign rhetoric: TELL ME CHUCKSTER, NO ATTACKS SINCE 911, JUST DUMB LUCK...NO THANKS TO BRANDON MAYFIELD, AND I DON'T CARE WHAT THE COURT IN LIBBER/COMMIE PDX SAID!

Add in your own in comments: I did, they will just get deleted though.

No they won't get deleted, you make my point and that's fine. Disenfranchisement is the removal of the right to vote, ie illegally being tossed for a non-existant felony, no voting machines, false challenges.

wife? if you can't have it done to your wife or your kid it is torture, wake the **** up, it's not some THEM, it is all of US.

Sorry, I didn't fall for it, there are archives and I took a boatload of abuse from folks like you that did buy it. I got called a traitor for not buying the BS then, now I'm a traitor because you bought it...

If you like Fox that is your misfortune not mine. Fox would not exist without a Republican suspension of FCC rules, so they have a debt.

If you buy the terrorism in Iraq BS then you do, you and about 28%.

Barney isn't doing anything inside the House or because he has House access, I could care less that he's gay, it isn't anymore of my business than Larry Craig, except Craig has made his way off 'fidelity' and 'sanctity of marriage' and 'anti-gay ammendments' I've never said squat about his sexuality - a bunch about hypocrisy.

But that's the current version of the right - money, meaness, hypocrisy, lies. Too bad, there used to be a right - I disagreed with them, but I didn't loath them.
