Some Things Are Just Plain Fun

Charlie Rangel gave "The Dick," Cheney that is, the boot yesterday. Well he told that "SOB," as he called him to the NY Post, to pack up and leave the office he'd occuppied since 2000. It's historically been the office of the Chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee but the Republicans gave it to Cheney, as a loan. (the Republican version was: we've got the Ways, screw the Means) The NY Post describes it as the "choicest and most politically central real estate in all of Washington." Maybe that's one of the rooms BushCo accused the Democrats of measuring for the drapes. The Post quotes Charlie as saying, "I'm trying to find some way to be gentle as I restore the dignity of that office. You gotta go, you gotta go." And I gotta laugh and laugh, that must've stung that Dick.
